I developed this collection from Screen Printing class in which I made the screen printed coat. The collection is inspired by retro-futurism in fashion that designers such as Pierre Cardin were leading in the early to mid 20th century, with a little bit of steam punk aspects. My garments reflect on Cardin’s women’s hourglass futuristic suits. It’s also inspired by Balenciaga’s signature silhouettes.
